Let's Do it Galway gets set for Volvo Ocean Race

On Wed 21st May, the official launch of the Galway stage of the 2008-2009 Volvo Ocean Race took place in the Radisson SAS Hotel. In attendance on the day was the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Martin Cullen TD, who welcomed the race to Irish shores.

Proactive is currently working closely with Let's Do It Galway, who is responsible for staging and promoting the Galway stopover of the race. In association with Fáilte Ireland, among the organisation's objectives are to promote Ireland internationally and to attract in excess of 150,000 visitors.

To achieve these ambitious targets, Proactive worked with Let's Do It Galway to create a brand that is simple and clearly identifiable, that will attract attention and highlight an energetic vibrant brand personality. This brand identity has been brought to life through a series of advertising, billboard and signage templates, which ensure consistency to enhance memory and recognition of the event.
